My First Project

This was my first ever Dolls house project it is a model of my real life kitchen. At the time I didn't even know all the ready made bits and bobs you could get for dolls house projects and ended up making everything from the floor tiles and bricks to the sink and window frames. Oh well, fun times and it's nice to have this model even if I move homes in real life!

The start of the 50's room box with scaled down wallpaper found in the cupboard under the stair in my sons new house. It will have a corner fireplace with two little alcoves.

These are real dried plants which are then painted up.

The Garden

Lots of the leaves and flowers are brass frets painted up, but also paper and material cut outs.

Mostly the plants are made of cold porcelain.

The topiary are made of oasis coated in the scenery power you can get from model shops.
